This route keeps an earlier attempt to map how organisations progress. It is not a maturity framework, and Cralgo does not hold a universal map.
The material once collected here was a set of short observations about growth and change, written by hand and never measured. Presenting it as cartography claimed more than the material supports.
Cralgo is a research and technology organisation working across people, organisations and technology. Progression through levels is not the thesis, and “next level” is no longer how Cralgo describes itself.

An organisation can be advanced in one condition and constrained in another
A business can stabilise one part of itself while another regresses, modernise a platform while capability lags, or skip a supposed stage entirely. Function by function, the picture usually differs.

No maturity model, and no map
Nothing here measures maturity or ranks organisations. There is no empirical basis for a universal sequence, so none is asserted — and a later label is not automatically a better condition.

Stages and constraints are contextual questions
Terms such as scale, modernisation, ownership, operating model, execution, architecture, capability and coordination remain useful when a specific situation is being read. They are topics, not peers of the three lenses: psychology, technology and organisations.

Orientation by environment and context is handled at /where-cralgo-works. Application environments are not levels, and no transformation framework or Cralgo operating method is defined here.

Where reasoning about a recurring question is genuinely reusable, it is published with its assumptions and trade-offs visible at /knowledge. This archive has not been migrated there.

The three lenses
Psychology — how people perceive, decide and behave. Technology — what the system makes possible or constrains. Organisations — what conditions shape action. Outcomes emerge from their interaction.
Research — the questions underneath the work
Collaborative investigation with organisations, universities, practitioners and the people a question affects. Commissioned research is disclosed as such.
Beyond — questions Cralgo carries on its own account
Beyond describes the origin of a question: one Cralgo carries independently, or around a public-purpose context.
