Founders described their own attention as the binding constraint
In repeated forum conversations, founders named their own decision load — not capital or hiring — as the thing limiting the business.

What was being observed
Psychology × Organisations
Context
A series of founder network sessions and the informal conversations around them, across several forums. Founders are described by stage and setting only.
The context is part of the observation. Environments are described at setting level only.
Observed
Asked what was slowing the business, founders returned to decisions reaching them that they believed should have been resolved a level below. Several described reviewing the same question more than once because no one else was recognised as able to close it. The language used was consistent across unrelated businesses: drag, fog, the meeting tax.
One possible reading
One possible reading is that the shared vocabulary points to a shared structural condition rather than a shared personality trait — decisions accumulate at the founder because escalation is the only path that reliably ends them. The alternative reading is that founders in a peer setting describe overload because the setting rewards describing it.
A reading is not the observation. This note describes one environment and does not establish what organisations in general do.
Still open
Whether the load actually reduced in the businesses where founders said they had delegated it, and whether the same founders would describe it the same way outside a peer forum.
Question this sharpens
What makes escalation to the founder the fastest way to close a decision, and what would have to change for that to stop being true?
Basis
Direct observation in this environment, recorded by the Cralgo team present. Qualitative and unmeasured.

Founding
Cralgo was founded in 2025 by Anil Kabir Kumar. Legal entity: Cralgo Innovations (OPC) Private Limited, incorporated 27 June 2025.
The three lenses
Psychology — how people perceive, decide and behave. Technology — what the system makes possible or constrains. Organisations — what conditions shape action. Outcomes emerge from their interaction.
Research — the questions underneath the work
Collaborative investigation with organisations, universities, practitioners and the people a question affects. Commissioned research is disclosed as such.
Beyond — questions Cralgo carries on its own account
Beyond describes the origin of a question: one Cralgo carries independently, or around a public-purpose context.
