Capability was demonstrated; adoption was the part nobody could show
Across conference programmes, what had quietly stopped being discussed was as informative as what was announced.

What was being observed
Technology × Organisations
Context
Sessions, vendor briefings and operator conversations across several industry conferences.
The context is part of the observation. Environments are described at setting level only.
Observed
Vendor sessions demonstrated capability, and operators in the same rooms described pilots that had proved that capability without anyone using the result afterwards. Where we asked what had happened after a successful pilot, answers were frequently vague. Announcements about model capability drew smaller audiences than sessions about running systems already in place.
One possible reading
One possible reading is that a proven pilot and an adopted system are being treated as the same milestone when they are not, and that the gap between them is where the effort actually sits. We did not see adoption data for any of the pilots described.
A reading is not the observation. This note describes one environment and does not establish what organisations in general do.
Still open
Whether these pilots were later adopted, and whether the vagueness reflects genuine uncertainty or reluctance to describe a failure in public.
Question this sharpens
What has to be true after a pilot succeeds for anyone to keep using it?
Basis
Direct observation in this environment, recorded by the Cralgo team present. Qualitative and unmeasured.

Founding
Cralgo was founded in 2025 by Anil Kabir Kumar. Legal entity: Cralgo Innovations (OPC) Private Limited, incorporated 27 June 2025.
The three lenses
Psychology — how people perceive, decide and behave. Technology — what the system makes possible or constrains. Organisations — what conditions shape action. Outcomes emerge from their interaction.
Research — the questions underneath the work
Collaborative investigation with organisations, universities, practitioners and the people a question affects. Commissioned research is disclosed as such.
Beyond — questions Cralgo carries on its own account
Beyond describes the origin of a question: one Cralgo carries independently, or around a public-purpose context.
